Join a distinguished network of architects, engineers, and certified building inspectors who are stepping up when communities need it most. This training session, designed for licensed professionals, will certify you to conduct rapid safety assessments through the nationally recognized Safety Assessment Program (SAP).
SAP equips you with the skills to assess structural safety in the aftermath of disasters. As a trained evaluator, you'll play a critical role in helping local governments determine the habitability of buildings after events like earthquakes, hurricanes, and floods. This in-person training—AIA’s only in-person event this year—is a unique opportunity to strengthen your chapter's ability to respond to local disasters by expanding its roster of qualified members.
Registration fee includes the Applied Technology Council’s ATC-20 and ATC-45 damage assessment procedure guides—
Postearthquake Safety Evaluation of Buildings and
Safety Evaluation of Buildings after Windstorms and Floods.
Register for this session for $149 for members/$199 for non-members.
