Diantha S. Korzun, AIA, LEED AP, is a partner at gbArchitecture and Planning. For over thirty years Diantha has lived and worked all over the world which has fueled her passion for discovering the unique qualities of people and place in order to design spaces that fit the environment and are also of the time.
Diantha has extensive design and project leadership experience and specializes in working with schools and communities. She is committed to socially conscious projects and the creation of beautiful, sustainable buildings that are suited to their place through studying the culture, climate and environment. She has lived and studied in Rome, Italy; Cuernavaca, Mexico; and Paris, France. International K-12 school projects have taken her to Bucharest, Romania; Basa, Nepal; Sofia, Bulgaria; Addis Ababa, Ethiopia; Paris, France; and Waterloo, Belgium.
She is currently on the AIA Resiliency and Disaster Response Committee. From 2022-2024 she was on the AIA National Strategic Council, as well as a member of the AIA Committee on Climate Action and Design Excellence. Previously, Diantha was President of AIA Vermont and also President of AIA New England. She has been a guest juror at both Norwich University and Middlebury College, and has lectured both at regional and international conferences.
In her free time during the ski season, she is a PSIA Level 3 Certified Alpine Instructor and Staff Trainer at Smugglers Notch Vermont.
