Patrick McBride leads Zurich North America’s national Construction Property efforts as Head of
Construction Property for U.S. Specialties. He works closely with key brokers and agents to
conceptualize, develop, and implement innovative first-party risk transfer solutions for Master
Builder’s Risk, Project Builder’s Risk, Contractor’s Property, and Inland Marine programs. Further,
he has launched strategic initiatives addressing emerging solutions in Mass Timber, Sustainable
Energy, and Construction Weather Parametric products.
Patrick’s underwriting expertise is complemented by his prior broking experience. He rejoined
Zurich in 2018 from Willis Towers Watson, where he was the Middle Market Broking Leader for the
Mid-Atlantic region, providing leadership and oversight across all lines and industries in the Middle
Market space. Prior to his current role as Head of Construction Property for Zurich North America,
he served as the Construction Property Leader for the South region. Patrick is a graduate of Texas
A&M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance.
