Eddy Santosa AIA, LEED BD+C, ENV SP, BEMP, CBCP, LEED Fellow is currently a Building Performance Leader for Mott MacDonald. He is a global leader in sustainable building strategies and design, with a portfolio of over 300 high-performance building projects across the U.S. and internationally. His exceptional contributions to the global sustainability sector have earned him recognition from the USGBC, where he has been appointed as a LEED Fellow. Eddy's expertise encompasses a wide range of sustainable design practices, including regenerative design, net zero planning and design, energy performance optimization, embodied and life-cycle carbon, and the use of alternative low-carbon materials.
Eddy's experience and skills are extensive. He has provided technical leadership to several nationally and globally significant professional bodies. He has served as the former chair of the AIA National Building Performance Knowledge Community and as a board director for the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA) US. Additionally, he is a voting member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) SPC 209-2018R committee, a LEED ProReviewer, and a vice-chair for the LA Metro Sustainability Council. Beyond his leadership roles, Eddy has published numerous articles on energy performance, building science, and sustainability.
