Gemma Devesa, AIA is the Principal of GDG Architecture, a WBE-certified firm based in Brooklyn with international roots in Spain and Sweden. Her work spans hospitality, residential, and cultural projects, with an emphasis on concept design and cross-cultural collaboration.
With extensive experience across Europe and the U.S., she has led large-scale developments abroad and now champions women’s leadership in architecture through her roles as Director of AIA Brooklyn and Co-Chair of Women in Architecture (WIA) Brooklyn. She is passionate about bridging global practice with local impact.
