Christopher P. Lane, AIA, Principal, Finegold Alexander Architects.
Christopher has been at Finegold Alexander for over 30 years and is a critical member on nearly all of the firm’s work involving complex preservation and fast-track schedules for public, higher education, and private development clients. He is an expert in historic preservation and adaptive reuse and has a unique knowledge of construction methods and materials used to blend existing and historic building fabrics with new construction elements. Christopher enjoys the forensic portion of projects as much as he does the problem solving throughout documentation, production and final construction. Whether in the office at his desk, or on a lift 60 feet in the air investigating the building or even in a basement crawl space, he has no problems getting his hands dirty. Christopher serves on the board of Revolutionary Spaces and holds the position of Preservation Officer as well as serving on the Facilities Committee for the Old South Meeting House in Boston. He also sits on the Amesbury Historical Commision in Amesbury. Christopher earned his Bachelor of Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology and has an Associate of Science in Architecture Engineering Technology and Engineering Science.
