Billy Strait, CSI, is Vice President of Business Development at Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope (OBE), North America’s leading
vertically integrated manufacturer, fabricator and distributor of architectural hardware, glass and glazing systems. He leads a team of engineering, sales and technical professionals dedicated to working directly with architects from ideation to completion of projects using traditional and design / assist project delivery. Billy has over 25 years of experience in the architectural glass and glazing, design and commercial construction industries. He champions consulting key project stakeholders on the performance of entire product systems to meet carbon neutral, Net Zero, LEED, Passive House, and all other performance standards. He is CompTIA Project+ certified. Prior to OBE, Billy has successfully fulfilled roles as regional vice president, regional sales manager, director of commercial sales, and director of project
management. Billy began his career with Curtainwall Design and Consulting in 1997. Billy holds an associate degree in drafting and design from Kellogg Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Western
Governor’s University.
