Walking Tour: Boston’s Seaport

Additional fee, registration required.

Join former AIA public director and BSA honorary member Vivien Li for a two-hour walking tour of Boston's Seaport District. As the Boston Harbor Association's leader for nearly 25 years, Li helped to shape Boston's waterfront, including the expansion of what is now a 43-mile Harborwalk public access system; siting of civic uses, including a federal courthouse and the Institute of Contemporary Art; and inclusion of climate strategies for waterfront development.

This walking tour will be on flat terrain, with numerous opportunities for photography of "the good, the bad, and the ugly" along Boston's waterfront.
