Join us to examine policies and practices that support parents and caregivers in architecture firms based on research undertaken by the panelists and funded by the AIA Future Forward Grant. Panelists will discuss current challenges facing employees who balance work and caregiving responsibilities, describe survey results and present draft policy recommendations. In addition to providing input on policies recommendations, attendees will learn how to assess their current benefits, gain an understanding of frameworks that foster a more inclusive workplace culture, and leave with practical tips such as how to approach the topic with their employer and communicating with teams.
This grant program is brought to you by the AIA Young Architects Forum and the Large Firm Roundtable.
