It will also propose an empathic approach to design, rooted in the deaf community, to create more inclusive and livable spaces for all. Through a review of three case studies, architects and designers will unveil the unique relationship in spatial organization that American Sign Language communication has historically overlooked. You'll learn about deaf education design that enhances visual language in school spatial organization, including spatial awareness and communication access. Plus, explore strategies for creating more accessible and technological learning environments.
